Thickness measurements recorded in SIL data base
SILC allows you to follow in real time thickness measurements made by
the VMA captors.
From now on, you can keep the information of these measurements in the
SIL database.
The SIL records, for every mould number, mini of minis,
maxi of maxsi and average of averages on a configurable period of time.
The
interest of this new function is to use the SIL tools to know the
capability of your process thanks to SPC graphs and reports.
The benefit is to keep traceability of thickness measurements of the
articles produced
In case of customer request, you can trace finished productions
by consulting SILQual.

Subscribe our annual fee for SIL software upgrade.
To get an easier access to SIL update regularly, Vertech' set
up
an annual subscription that allows our customers to update their system to the
newest SIL version when they decide to do so.
This
subscription depends on the number of lines equipped with SILC and the
number of controller workstations equipped with SILQual.
A large
part of our customers has chosen this solution in order to work with a
system up to date and to benefit from the latest new functions
developed, and to have a homogeneous system in all the plants of a same
Group.

a new
function in Vertech'

Jonathan
Souillot joined Vertech' in 2004
as
development Engineer in the SILC team.
As main achievement, he developed SILAcq, our acquisistion cabinet which is now
fully integrated to the SIL architecture.
Born British, Jonathan has a Master's degree and has experience in
Electronics, in
the sawmill Industry and of course in the Glass Industry.
From
June the 1st, Jonathan has been promoted Chief Operating Officer,
to supervise the technical activities of Vertech',
follow some outstanding
projects, analyze functional requests from our Customers and set up
service offers to answer their requirements.
Our team warmly congratulates him for this promotion and whishes him
the best in his new function which symbolizes a new
organization
in Vertech' management.
