SILC 

  • Machine challenging

    Glassmakers regularly test the inspection machines by passing  "test" bottles in order to check whether defects are well rejected.

    The results can be recorded manually in SILC.

    The machine challenging function allows the user to :

      guarantee that the tests have been performed
      calculate automatically the repeatability for every machine and reliability of cold end inspection.

    Vertech' is working on the automatical recording of the results. To achieve this development, the SIL needs to get information of passing test bottles from inspection machines.

    We have installed personalized solutions to communicate with line regulation cabinets.

    Please feel free to contact us, test bottles being a key point in the control reliability.

    For the servers, Vertech' has chosen a solution with DELL specialists in order to guarantee a better reliability of the SIL system.

    The advantages of DELL servers are :

      more efficiency
     a smaller architecture (with 2 servers instead 4)
    a better reliability thanks to redundant power supplies

    The characteristics are :

     INTEL Quad Core processor 2,4 Ghz minimum
    RAID5 capacity 3 *146 Go (2*146 Go for the system and data)
     8GB RAM
     Dell Remote Access Controller
     Automatic backup from one server to another

What's new ?


Vertech' participated in the Glassman South America exhibition in Sao Paulo on March  9 and 10, in collaboration with RAW Material, our agent in Brazil.
In a conference organized by Abividro during the second day of the exhibition, Philippe Bierry made a technical presentation of the SIL system.



Assistance Contract with tokens

You are working with the SIL system 24/24 and you wish to get a quick and simple assistance service when needed.
That's the reason why we have settled an assistance Contract with tokens, which ensures :

   an easy and flexible solution
  the guarantee of quality and efficiency  as proposed in our maintenance contract
  a cost adapted to your needs

Thanks to our software to follow Maintenance (SILMaint), each action is recorded and detailed. To your request, we can send you the description of the actions performed by Vertech'.
In order to ensure  the best technical  assistance service, a reminder will be sent to you for the renewal of the tokens.

 

Intra VERTECH'


  • Jean-Baptiste Guignard joined Vertech' in 2001. He has been working in every development department in our French team, then he was in charge of projects dedicated to German Customers.
    Then he started the Vertech' USA Office, that he managed between 2005 and 2008.

    For the last 2 years, Jean-Baptiste has been in charge of the developments on the SILDB database and carries on managing some international projects.
