NEW SILC FUNCTIONS 

• Thanks to our customers requests, new SILC 2009 version made a big step, specially with its new TPM module.
  Below is a presentation of major new SILC functionalities :
  
   Total Productive Maintenance
  Thanks to the new TPM module, the operator  can now detect automatically losses or anomalies on line and record the reasons  for these losses/anomalies.
  Glassmakers create into the SIL the elements of production lines they wish to follow (IS machine, conveyor, inspection machines...) and then are informed of the losses in real time, with precise hour when an alarm appears, exact cause selected in a list, period of time of the alarm, and number of articles lost.
  
   Alarm on pallet resort when a mould, which is the cause of a pallet blocked, is still present on the IS machine
  
   Cold End dump : SILC can propose an estimation of losses at lehr exit when a production is dumped
  
   Estimation of swabbing losses
  
    Production change : possibility to add a step for maintenance
  
   An  histogram can be displayed on the weigth curve in order to show the gap between minimum and maximum gob weight
  
   Management of   plunger and ring mould numbers
  
   Alarm to show the cavity which has the highest percentage of rejection 
  
   Display of the  main defect on MNR

  
   Export of the defect list (in html, csv or xml format)
