SIL Maint is an efficient software for CAMM (Computer Assistance Maintenance Management) specially designed for glassmakers.
It enables maintenance department to reduce machine stop times thanks to faster interventions and better prevention.

All your equipment is listed with its components. In a few clicks you know on which type of elements the most frequent breakdowns occur.

You can then make your technical decisions accordingly.

Quick set-up

For a fast implementation, a library of machines and suppliers usually used by glassmakers is included in SILMaint.
Additionally, VERTECH’ customizes your system on site.

• Incidents are entered in the system by technicians in real time.

Mould prices and costs for repairs justify focussing on their rotations. Moreover, traceability requirements mean that it is essential to be able to answer clients quickly. Until now, there was no tool enabling glass manufacturers to follow mould lifetime easily.

It is often difficult to manage systematic changes efficiently.
With SILMold you enter your rules and this becomes easy. SILMold clearly indicates moulds to change first,
taking into account the maximum number of changes a shift can make.



Analysis

From your PC, you analyze mould changes per mould, per production, per shop or per cavity for any period of time. Clear graphs show main defect causes and implicated cavities for each type of mould.

Recording

The operator chooses among a list of causes for mould change. Thanks to the history, shifts follow easily mould rotations.

SILWeb
A global vision of your plant

Being able to visualize, anywhere in the plant, information collected on lines (counts, entries), enables Managers to have a global and significant vision of production from their desk.

Principle

Redundant SILC server becomes an intranet server. SILC "Main view" can be seen on any PC connected to the SIL network. You just need to use the browser (Netscape, Internet Explorer).
